SharperMessage™ is a sole proprietorship, and I do all work myself. I specialize in serving individuals from diverse backgrounds who have one thing in common—the regular, or even occasional, need to write error-free English. The discrete pieces of writing might be lengthy or brief, but they must be made letter perfect with a deftness that can preserve the author's style and tone when appropriate.

I work within tight deadlines to accommodate the quick turnaround required by time-sensitive items like e-mail messages, blog entries and posts to discussion forums. I am occasionally interested in large or unusual projects, and I can assist with research, fact-checking and the writing process, too, if necessary.

My goal is your satisfaction with a product that represents you in the best way possible. To accomplish that, there are two fundamental levels of revision I can do to your writing: proofreading and editing.

Proofreading—checking and fixing the barest basics according to accepted norms of U.S. English usage appropriate to the context and style of the material—is occasionally possible when text is already "clean." Any corrections to spelling, grammar and punctuation are required for accuracy. Some degree of additional editing will almost always result in significant improvements to the readability of the text.
